| ![]() | Air It's pretty rare I'm interested in the characters in the first episode, much less a few minutes into it. Anyways, there are quite a few shortcomings with this show, such as the length of it - the other 2/3 arcs had such little time to cover what happened in them that I didn't care, though I didn't like those characters anyways, which is another fault. Only 3 characters were really consequential to the show, so the other ones just felt like fluff. There are 2 episodes in here that tell a backstory, but they are boring, despite providing critical information. It's a very emotional show towards the end - even the dub, which is what I watched (it has a few voice actors from Welcome To The NHK). Great show overall. p.s. Episode 10, timecode 21:00 for the depressing part. | 8 | TV | 12
| ![]() | Air Movie 6/10 doesn't mean it was bad or wasn't enjoyable. Taking a 40+ hour visual novel and trimming it down into a 13 episode show and then further down into a 90 minute movie means there isn't enough time to build on things properly, even if you're already aware of the plot from the other works. The conversations with Yukito and Misuzu were shallow and boring, so proclaiming "love" 40 minutes in is retarded and not believable. Also, the emotional moments were done much better in the show - 90 minutes of time made every tear jerking moment rushed. | 6 | Movie | 1
| ![]() | Akame ga Kill! I appreciate that there is very little filler or non-captivating material. Fight scenes are truly epic and the storytelling is highly engrossing. Definitely worth a watch. | 8 | TV | 24
| ![]() | Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wo Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai. MENMAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!! | 8 | TV | 11
| ![]() | B-gata H-kei Stupid male main character + 1000 self referential jokes to being a whore got so tiring. | 6 | TV | 12
| ![]() | Baby Princess 3D Paradise 0 [Love] | 3 | OVA | 1
| ![]() | Boku dake ga Inai Machi | 8 | TV | 12
| ![]() | Byousoku 5 Centimeter I didn't start to get into this movie until it was half over, which is a little pathetic considering you're trying to tell a full story within 60 minutes. The 2deep4u narration was annoying, as was trying to once again sell the stereotypical anime "love" as something serious. The movie was alright, but it tried to come off as overly deep and serious, which is really wasn't. | 6 | Movie | 3
| ![]() | Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai! | 6 | TV | 12
| ![]() | Clannad Slow as all fucking hell for the first 10 or so episodes, then it grows into something decently enjoyable. | 7 | TV | 23
| ![]() | Clannad Movie By far the most boring of all the Clannad works. | 5 | Movie | 1
| ![]() | Clannad: After Story This is the best anime I've ever seen - the amount of emotion and complexity woven into the story is incredible. Cried like a bitch during most of the episodes. I doubt anything else is on this show's caliber. Rewatch value is extremely high. | 10 | TV | 24
| ![]() | Clannad: After Story - Mou Hitotsu no Sekai, Kyou-hen I think I saw this right after I finished watching After Story, but I watched it again and it's OK, but having gone through the visual novel and seen both seasons, I can't say this is a great stand alone episode. It would've been better if watched following AS, which is what I might've did, but I don't remember. | 7 | Special | 1
| ![]() | Death Note Very good anime, I love how you can't miss an episode to know what's going on. After *spoiler* dies, the show drops in quality, though. Downloaded Episodes: 37 | 8 | TV | 37
| ![]() | Digimon Adventure The dub is an abomination - not even nostalgia can gloss over how fucking childish this shit is. Fight scenes are alright, but every serious moment is ruined with stupid jokes. | 5 | TV | 54
| ![]() | Digimon Adventure 02: Diablomon no Gyakushuu | 4 | Movie | 1
| ![]() | Digimon Adventure Movie Referring to the American version (3 films combined) - dub sucks, soundtrack sucks; this was just a cash grab instead of trying to make something good. The stories are just mashed together. This movie has aged worse than the women of this film's country of origin. | 4 | Movie | 1
| ![]() | Digimon Adventure tri. 1: Saikai Nothing but boring ass talking for 99% of the movie. Boring as FUCK! | 3 | Movie | 1
| ![]() | Digimon Adventure tri. 2: Ketsui 70 minutes of absolute nonsense - just running around and squealing. Made me hate every single character. 5 or so minutes of battles, which were compressed for time so it was just "YELLLL!!" and then an evolution and it was over. Ending was enough for me to skim through the next one. This movie is an absolute piece of shit; just another way to make money off of 80 pound faggots who say "my childhooooooood". Fuck off. | 1 | Movie | 1
| ![]() | Digimon Savers Digimon needs to be mature and dark if they want to recapture the original fanbase - this show is a great example of that, with epic fights, dank music, and a great story. They really should've kept this style instead of doing Xros Wars which was for the handicapped. | 8 | TV | 48
| ![]() | Digimon Savers the Movie: Kyuukyoku Power! Burst Mode Hatsudou!! After watching and loving the Savers TV show, I was excited to hear there was a movie. It's only 22 minutes? Well that's kinda like a new episode. I was disappointed and enraged when I was done - the fuck is this garbage? It had nothing to do with Savers at all and the length destroyed any chance of the story becoming anything good (I doubt there was potential anyways). | 2 | Movie | 1
| ![]() | Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works Shirou is a very annoying character. Anyways, the fight scenes were pretty good, although short and having almost every opponent let them leave was cheap because it's unrealistic and only served to elongate the plot. Too many episodes which I wouldn't call filler, but were dull and filled with nothing but backstory/dialog which I kept zoning out to. This anime is alright, but the higher score is reflective of a build up to a future pay off. | 7 | TV | 12
| ![]() | Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works Prologue It was good enough for me to continue watching, eh | 7 | TV Special | 1
| ![]() | Golden Time Fantastic slice of life anime where finally there is no dicking around. The show actually has a conclusion. Fuckin great. | 9 | TV | 24
| ![]() | Hajime no Ippo | 9 | TV | 75
| ![]() | Hajime no Ippo: New Challenger | 8 | TV | 26
| ![]() | Higashi no Eden I don't remember anything about this shit other than liking it. | 7 | TV | 11
| ![]() | Kimi ni Todoke | 5 | TV | 25
| ![]() | Koi wa Ameagari no You ni | 5 | TV | 12
| ![]() | Lovely★Complex Really enjoyable; despite the plot following the typical slice of life formula, the story is still compelling enough for you to be invested in it. | 8 | TV | 24
| ![]() | Meitantei Conan Movie 01: Tokei Jikake no Matenrou | 7 | Movie | 1
| ![]() | Musaigen no Phantom World Good. | 7 | TV | 13
| ![]() | NHK ni Youkoso! Fantastic show that offers a variety of emotions from beginning to end. It's really one of those shows that makes me stare out the window and think about life. | 9 | TV | 24
| ![]() | Nisekoi Really enjoyed the show - watched 19 episodes in 48 hours. Show is a giant cocktease throughout with no real resolution. | 7 | TV | 20
| ![]() | Nisekoi: Pretty much the same as season 1, except with less episodes. No resolution in sight since the manga is still going - season 3 shouldn't be any different, but I still like the show. | 7 | TV | 12
| ![]() | Perfect Blue | 8 | Movie | 1
| ![]() | Pokemon Crystal: Raikou Ikazuchi no Densetsu I watched this shit back in like 2005, which I liked it because it was darker than what Pokemon usually is. I doubt my strong opinion would hold up present day though, because old Pokemon shit's only selling point is nostalgia - it doesn't hold up at all. | 7 | TV Special | 1
| ![]() | Pokemon Diamond & Pearl Just as formulaic as the previous 460+ episodes, though not as gay as the ones that followed. Just like whatever the fuck was in Advanced Generation, having contests made the show contain less filler, even though somehow it took an entire year between 2 gym battles. | 5 | TV | 191
| ![]() | Pokemon Movie 01: Mewtwo no Gyakushuu A movie in which the present day quality is unequivocally defined by the past - that is the only reason why I would ever watch this movie again. | 6 | Movie | 1
| ![]() | Pokemon Movie 02: Maboroshi no Pokemon Lugia Bakutan Easily the best of the Pokemon movies, though I hope I never see it again in my life, I've played it too many times. This movie is also clouded by nostalgia, which I wish I could just forget the past. | 7 | Movie | 1
| ![]() | Pokemon Movie 03: Kesshoutou no Teiou Entei I have such a poor memory of this movie, but I do remember that Pokemon's fad levels of popularity were dying and this movie didn't help reclaim any fans. | 4 | Movie | 1
| ![]() | Pokemon Movie 04: Celebi Toki wo Koeta Deai This movie is OK, but everyone says it's better than it is because of nostalgia goggles - even I think of that sometimes. You have to watch most childhood things over again to prove to yourself that they don't age well. | 4 | Movie | 1
| ![]() | Pokemon Movie 05: Mizu no Miyako no Mamorigami Latias to Latios I think Pokemon fans overrate this movie; I don't remember thinking it was that great. | 5 | Movie | 1
| ![]() | Pokemon Movie 06: Nanayo no Negaiboshi Jirachi The Advanced Generation movies were still OK, though they feel very similar to each other to me. | 5 | Movie | 1
| ![]() | Pokemon Movie 07: Rekkuu no Houmonsha Deoxys It's an alright movie, though quite past Pokemon's peak. | 6 | Movie | 1
| ![]() | Pokemon Movie 10: Dialga vs. Palkia vs. Darkrai The first Diamond and Pearl movie was alright, though I don't remember enough to comment on it. | 5 | Movie | 1
| ![]() | Pokemon Movie 12: Arceus Choukoku no Jikuu e I remember thinking this movie was appalling - the English versions take any cool factor and throw it in the garbage. | 4 | Movie | 1
| ![]() | Pokemon Movie 13: Genei no Hasha Zoroark I remember this movie was actually good - it's incredibly rare that a Pokemon movie is enjoyable. | 7 | Movie | 1
| ![]() | Pokemon Movie 15: Kyurem vs. Seikenshi I believe this was the last Pokemon movie I could sit through, though that by no stretch of the imagination means I liked it. | 5 | Movie | 1
| ![]() | Pokemon Movie 16: Shinsoku no Genosect - Mewtwo Kakusei The new Pokemon movies suck - especially dubbed, holy shit. | 4 | Movie | 1
| ![]() | ReLIFE | 7 | TV | 13 | |||
| ![]() | Saikin, Imouto no Yousu ga Chotto Okashiinda ga. Fan service galore - this show sucked dick and the only reason I wanted to continue watching was out of perversion (it didn't deliver on that either) | 6 | TV | 12
| ![]() | Sakura-sou no Pet na Kanojo The gay squealing characters ruined it, but it was very good. | 8 | TV | 24
| ![]() | Samurai Champloo A very poor way of explaining, but this show truly feels like a story. The main plot was extremely predictable, but this show was very enjoyable. | 7 | TV | 26
| ![]() | School Rumble | 6 | TV | 26
| ![]() | School Rumble Ni Gakki | 7 | TV | 26
| ![]() | Shiki Great show, though I forget what made it good. | 8 | TV | 22
| ![]() | Shingeki no Kyojin Combat episodes were fantastic, but empty dialogue filled episodes bored me to tears and took away from the overall enjoyment of the show. | 7 | TV | 25
| ![]() | Spiral: Suiri no Kizuna | 8 | TV | 25
| ![]() | Steins;Gate This show was very, very good. I don't remember why though, so I'll rewatch it again soon. | 9 | TV | 24
| ![]() | Steins;Gate Movie: Fuka Ryouiki no Déjà vu When does taking a great show and making a movie out of it ever work well? The show is undeniably better and I doubt this movie would've interested me whatsoever if the show hadn't pulled me in so deep to begin with. | 7 | Movie | 1
| ![]() | Steins;Gate: Oukoubakko no Poriomania A 6 is very generous - this special was garbage. | 6 | Special | 1
| ![]() | Tantei Gakuen Q | 8 | TV | 45
| ![]() | Tokyo Ghoul Holy shit this was fucking boring - I kept zoning out and squirming in my seat. I tortured myself just for the sake of having another show to mark as completed. | 3 | TV | 12
| ![]() | Toradora! In typical romance anime fashion, the main character has 3 girls all crushing on him and he is relatively oblivious. The main female character is annoying as shit, going beyond the typical tsundere character, though that doesn't make this show any less enjoyable for the most part. I'm glad there was more of a legitimate conclusion to this show, compared to a lot of romance animes not having a true ending. The show was quite enjoyable. | 8 | TV | 25
| ![]() | True Tears | 5 | TV | 13
| ![]() | Usagi Drop Good because it was realistic, but was too short and didn't touch upon shit I wanted to see. People honestly giving this a 10 - fuckin goons. | 7 | TV | 11
| ![]() | Yu☆Gi☆Oh! Hikari no Pyramid If you're anxious to relive your childhood interests, Yu-Gi-Oh does a far better job of holding up than Pokemon or Digimon, but that isn't saying much. This movie however also does a better job of taking a TV setting and making it feel really epic in a movie. It standing alone however, is nothing too special. | 5 | Movie | 1
