Add - More Phantom: Requiem for the Phantom Starts out somewhat interestingly, but very quickly shows its hand in being utterly fucking stupid and juvenile. A show about crime organizations and assassins? Aight. All the main players in the org are rash and short-sighted and pay no mind to the character of the people they're trying to manipulate. The assassinations are just embarrassing and almost all are in the open. What kind of a fucking assassin spends several days blending in and scouting a location for their next target only to run out in the open and fire on a crowded street at their target in a moving car? The rest of the assassinations are equally stupid. The characters are stock-standard emotionally stunted snooze-shows. The women are always foremost defined by boobas, and one woman's first appearance has her literally with her tits out - nipples and all. I could go on. I will say the show is somewhat entertaining. Entertaining trash. They attempt to have some jazz play because this is such a classy and totally adult show, bro. Phantom is so stupid it started giving me brain rot.

Add - More Psycho-Pass Could grow to be more interesting, but in 4 episodes it's just scratching at the (uninteresting) surface and not showing the viewer what the show will be about. Cardboard-cutout characters that could be inserted into any other anime. The leads are especially bad. Not a deep enough dive into the different concepts that cyberpunk allows. Just takes from Minority Report and does little new with it. Ultimately disappointing for such a hyped series.

Add - More Rainbow: Nisha Rokubou no Shichinin If you're up for a very dark show, this might be for you. There's enough here to have a pretty good show, but it very much so isn't for me. The villains are too cartoony, the tone verges on misery-porn and looking ahead, I don't even care that much about these characters - so I'm stopping here.

Add - More Uchuu Senkan Yamato 2199 For a show with an almost exclusively "adult cast," everyone sure acts pretty stupid and/or like a teenager all the time. Pretty annoying stock-standard leads and uninteresting anime tropes (don't like guy - guy saves me - I'm in love | you're my enemy /we're having a fight - neatly and shallowly wrapped up by the end of the episode, often with the help of a shitty speech) sprinkled around what could be decent space opera. Just not interesting enough to make the full series commitment for me.
