It was a solid anime, but like many early 2000's, late 90's animes it falls victim to many tropes. Namely unexplained background plot holes, fan service, and a seemingly rushed finale. If it was two, maybe three episodes longer with an OVA about the aftermath, it would be a bit better. The animation is really good though. The characters are fairly great. It just had so much promise, but left me wanting more.

There is a LOT of stuff in this. A lot of content to read/re-read. Things that, when looked back upon, are totally different than first perceived. Really good.

Wow. Very compelling universe, very real social issues and the ideals in it are blunt, to the point, and scary. Character development is fantastic.

Really good story. It's somewhat satire, but it has a lot of action, drama, and interesting bits that stir the show up a LOT.
