Ep. 1: Totally awesome. I have a huge preference for shows about characters or stories versus shows about form and media, but this one is just too creative and well done. Gleefully surreal, with the choice of the obscured derp brother parodying both traditional harem protagonists and manic pixie dream girls like Haruhi. Sasami is surprisingly enjoyable to follow, and her VA just nails it - I figured I'd heard her do that voice in something else, but the most major role I've seen her in is Mio from Ano Natsu, who's absolutely nothing like Sasami. Anyway, everything about this show is fun and distinctive and playful yet barbed. Looking forward to #2.
