I have mixed feelings about this anime. I feel that the quality has dropped.

Action 5/10: The action has been okay. I feel its a bit rushed and dumbed down. It could be more epic at times.

Story 5/10: I haven't read the manga, so don't really know too much on what's going on. But it feels a bit messy and out of place. Comedy feels weird. Overall im just finding it a bit weird adjusting to this new tokyo ghoul. Things feel a bit humourous and light hearted right now. I'm sure they'll explain what's going on later but right now I don't feel as enticed into the new sequel.

One of the best action animes I've seen. If your looking for action anime then you definitely must watch this. All the gun fast paced action you can ask for, lots of violence and gore and a simple story plot. It's basically a showdown between the nazi zombies battalion, the vatican and a vampire exterminating organisation. The ending is satisfying. It's good stuff.

As for the characters well you go from vampires who wield guns to a crazy priest who can make bayonets appear from thin air. It's mad wild violence.

With this anime I had quite high hopes because I'm a hardcore action anime fan.I'll start off with the positives. The artwork in this is brilliant and the character development seems interesting. As a action anime as you'd expect there's some gore. There's lots of elements of suspense and a dark aura within the anime which is good.

BUT! And this is a big but! The show is confusing as hell. Many things are left unexplained and the ending is somewhat a disappointment leaving many things unanswered. The action is slow paced too. Don't expect too much from this show if your looking for action animes you'll be disappointed
