Aoki Hagane no Arpeggio: Ars Nova
Some parts of this follow to manga to the letter, then it departs from it completely and does all kinds of weird stuff. I personally really liked the animation and battle scenes in this. You can't call out the battle scenes as crappy CGI that didn't look like it fit with the rest of the anime because the entire thing was done in CGI, and it actually looks pretty damn good. It isn't bad, but it would've been nice if it actually followed the manga more closely, I can only hope that the new Aoki Hagane no Arpeggio movie does this.

Black Bullet
Felt like the story was rushed (by pacing, not quality), episode 4 felt like the season finale. Kind of reminds me of Godzilla and Mothra and such monster movies. Depressing as heck, shows underlying theme is about losing faith in humanity because they're all assholes and should die.

Dragon Crisis!
Started out decent, rather than just going downhill it dropped off a cliff after the 3rd episode. Besides being generally mediocre I grew tired of hearing "Lost Precious", you'd think this show was about Gollum. The best part of the song used in the opening theme isn't actually heard in the opening theme, which sucks. Main characters voice acting was memorable enough that when I heard the same actor in Isekai no Seikishi Monogatari I actually recognized him. Practically nothing happened for the last 9 episodes that mattered. Show needed a lot more fire in it, fire is good.

Kakumeiki Valvrave 2nd Season
Sort of early in the second season, someone dies. "Well who gives a shit they'll be back again for some stupid reason anyway." They come back to life and I was so pissed, but luckily this is the only time this happens all season and they end up dying again shortly after. To sum up the second season, less stupid things no one cares about that don't involve mechs, a lot more action, and not screwing around when it comes to killing off characters. Around half the main characters die, it was great. This was a great way to throw away the stupid happy go lucky stupid kids in space thing the first one had going on.

This show is completely ridiculous and stupid, and it knows it. Lots of laughs to be had and plenty of action. Some bad humor I didn't appreciate and gratuitous nudity, the show itself even makes a joke out of this fact several times. The story is just silly, the scary part is the complete bullshit story actually comes together better than some serious animes do.

I felt completely lost watching this movie half of the time. It had its moments for sure, but in between those I was confused. Also the violence was a bit much for me even if especially violent scenes didn't happen all that often, I almost turned it off after the guys head got blown apart and his spine was sticking out in shortly into the movie. Though brief that was pretty messed up.

Thoroughly enjoyed Yuno Gasai being insane and murdering everyone. (This is pretty much the only reason to watch the show) The last few episodes of the show are generally horrible and stupid. Mur Mur is suddenly so crazy pshyco demon thing. Yuno, 7, and 12 are pretty good, unless I'm forgetting someone everyone else was stupid or just meh.

Endless 8. I watched all of it. Why the hell was it 8 episodes. The repeating thing was interesting, but 8 was waaaaay too much time to spend on it. It could have been done easily with 4-5 and still felt endless. 8 was complete overkill. I was clinging to straws trying to find enough differences between the episodes, was kind of like a "spot the differences" game.

Sword Art Online
First half is actually really good, then it ended rather abruptly and suddenly he's in a different game when I expected to get 25 episodes of him in Sword Art Online from a show named Sword Art Online. The second half does everything wrong. Tentacle rape, incest, Kirito randomly turning into a giant monster (which the show has a BS explanation for), and Asuna becoming nothing more than a damsel in distress for the entire second half. I liked when Recon blew himself up though, that was funny. Second half was still decent, but alone I'd probably have given it a 5 or 6 while first half would have gotten an 8 on its own.

This could've been really good, I love the setting. Some of the combat was a massive turn off, why do all the airplanes act like turrets? Why don't any of them have guns? Why don't they at least have something other than a rifle to shoot down planes with? It was painful to see them just hover there and be ridiculously easy targets. Show ended really abruptly.
