Yep,I understand you quite well. That's why I thought you may need a recommendation. One else thing that I may say for sure is that the rating here on MAL don't lie. Also, ya may find the good (ya may trust them) ratings here ANN (AnimeNewsNetwork) and here AniDB (AnimeDataBase) useful (and I think they really are). Just decide which genre you like or want at the moment and choose any anime in the TOP-100 or 50 at any of these sites. To choose Top-100 or Top-50 depends on how much series of the genre there are at the site - i mean, if there is in total 100 animes of genres detective and adventure, than of course it would be stupid to choose the 100th - but the 50th could do. And vice versa - if there is in total 1000 drama animes, then you may like 500th or maybe even 600th. Well, hope I succeeded to explain)
About Prince Of Tennis. At the beginning I also thought it would be somewhat boring, because of the main theme being tennis, but actually in sports anime it doesn't matter which type of sport they provide. For example, Hikaru and Go. I've never even heard about that "go" and it's not that I'm that much into intellectual games (I like chess though), but the anime wasn't bad actually (and yes - go is a very old intellectual japanese game). I say more - the genre isn't the defining factor. I mean, if I see a mahou shoujo (it's my most UNloved genre for some reasons), released in 1965 (that means the drawing would be awful) BUT! being in Top-100 - I'll watch it just beacuse it is in Top-100, that makes it minimum a deserving respect anime. And even if you don't like it, you'll extend yer vision and anime-list, because u watched somewhat "classic", yer know... But there's also lots of underrated animes, so it's no good to get stuck into ratings. Phew~

Well, they do have lots of friends but actually it takes much time and effort to "keep" them... especially if they're from other countries. I mean I'll write a message twice faster in Russian than in English. But it so happens that I really like English, so it's not even a problem - I'd say it's a pleasure, especially at the end - when I can see how much I've already written. Btw, what about you? Do you like English? And generally, what else do you ike besides anime? :D Oh, and what do ya think about Japanese language?

Well, I don't remember the feelings, I got after the view... Maybe there was a little disappointment, but from the moral's point of view it was the right thing to do. ...maybe. х) Also, the last scene concerns the “japanese feeling”, I was talking about – they say, Japanese like to make tragic endings in their films (no doubt they are the world's famous horror-makers ^^'). Shinigami's world and the legends around it are also part of the japanese feeling, I mentioned earlier. That's what I meant)
Yes, the OST is just something, but I'm more into Maximum the Hormone's hard “metal-punk”.

About recommendation.
Mmm, judging by your anime list, you're more into romantic comedies, except Kara No Kyoukai and Higurashi ni Naku Koro ni. That's why I'd recommend you Honey and Clover - http://myanimelist.net/anime/16/Honey_and_Clover . It's funny and romantic and touches the topic of maturing. And is very relaxing and mild – like summer breeze, ya know =*____*= . But if you like to try something serious (that doesn't mean it would be a total angst or horror! - just less funny stuff, like in The Garden of Sinners), just tell me when you'll need an advice.
Btw, Prince Of Tennis, that you began to watch is really good and strongly recommended (especially if you like character types difference – moreover if you like bishies -^.^-). In the beginning it's a little soggy and boring, but later there will be a real dynamic mix of stories. Just don't quit and you definitely won't regret it! ;)

I don't believe in destiny and stuff but I enjoy such flukes) Also, I've been trying to connect with people from other countries, but there was no good conversations (I don't really understand why - maybe people just don't want to leave their homes even in Internet), except once - with the 38 years-old Englishman. We used to talk a lot, even if sometimes we couldn't understand each other, but nevertheless - we talked, two different people from different countries, with different age and even sex. And that is strange! Look: people my age from other countries had lots of friends from their countries, but (most of them) didn't even try to get acquainted with the foreigners. At the same time there is a conservative almost 40-years-old man, who tries to get along with other cultures, that he even had never known. And he is an introvert moreover!! ...
That is why I'm twice glad to, finally, be able to talk nicely with the foreigner like you. And I kinda feel much more free, talking with a non-english speaker now ^_^' I was always so worried about my speech, talking with that englishman.

Yeah, I watched it, so don't worry. The best part of DN ends before L's death, which makes only 2/3 part of the serial watchable and adorable ^^ But nevertheless, I love it, and even the last 1/3 part with Mello and Near. The idea is unique and quite outstanding. And it has some japanese feeling to it, that makes it even more wonderful, especially for a non-japanese audience. Also, I'm crazy about the OST! Arrgh!!!! %)) And what do you think about the sound?
