Vinland Saga Season 2 starts off with a slower pacing than expected. But after the season 1 finale, the change is very welcome. Watchers are given time to understand the situation and changes that are occuring. Characters from previous seasons change so much, that they might seem unrecognizable at first.

The season shines with ample time given to a new cast of characters. What I find amazing is that Vinland Saga upholds one of its central themes from the previous season - the depicion of humans as not good or bad, but an inbetween.

Many characters of this season are likeable, even if they ...

I am a big fan of Kaleido Star and there is a huge reason why this Episode was absolutely unacceptable for me. If you look very very very closely you will see a lot of camera angles you have not seen before in the Anime. You can just look at the Opening and you will notice it. It's not about Kaleido Star anymore. It's about the sexualisation of the female characters in this OVA. Somehow the characters lost their usual feeling and I see a lot of people doing extremely strange things that are over the top or not so in character. The characters feel ...

Tsuritama (Anime) add
Story: A very original story about a very shy guy. Yuki who feels like he's rowning whenever he get's nervous, who meets an alien. Haru on Enoshima who turns his life upside down and invites him to go fishing with him. Well, not that Yuki wants to go fishing, but that water-pistol Haru has has some unique....power over humans.
The story is pretty original but a bit too over-the-top, that's why I 'only' give it a "good" 7/10.

Art: The art is colourful and really suits the athmosphere of the anime. The island is depicted so beautifully that I really want to go on a vacation there ...

Jin-Rou (Anime) add
Jin-Roh should be must-watch movie if you're really into Anime and like elements from the science-fiction gerne or militairy series. I would for instance recommend this to people who liked Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex.

But it's definitely not your anime for anybody, that seems clear.

Story: Dramatic and intoxicating, the silence and then the "loud action" was intriguing. Everybody should know the story of Little Red Riding Hood, "Rotkäppchen" in German. A diferent interpretation of Rotkäppchen is used here. The aspects of the psychology of the wolf are worthwhile to witness, the story is also told in a way, that I didn't even ...

If I hadn't known Crayon Shin-chan from the TV Series, I'd probably not enjoyed this.
This movie is really primary for kids, but evenso it was very enjoyable, because of the funny and quirky characters and the unpredictable plot (and the catchy songs). A nice movie to enjoy if you don't want to think about...well anything at all.

The only thing I didn't like was the kind of forced "drama", but oh well, Shin-chan IS for kids after all.
