If you want to know how i rate animes it's mostly like these :

10 - A Complete Masterpiece bec it surpasses my expectation in terms of plot or plot
subversions, and the characters, writing, ost, artstyle, directing landed perfectly in
my headcanon when i'm a manga reader of that anime and if not it's just perfect
imho because i just can't help myself but love the anime without reading the manga.

9 - Just like 10 above but there's one or two flaws being critical wise or not.

8 - Overall great anime even with many flaws in directing etc. as long it fits my taste.

7 - It's an ok anime ig but I wouldn't have high expectations for second season because
with this.

6 - Usually I would give this rating to sequel animes like 2nd cour/season and beyond if it
doesn't adapt as faithful as the manga as how i expect them to adapt or I just lost my
taste in that anime in the long run. For non-sequel that means just like what MAL
says being fine but only decide to continue for future sequels if the plot or ending still
somehow hooked me in or some sort.

5 - Average anime at best with no interesting plot whatsoever or the animation just feels
bland + lacking in story wise.

for the 1 - 4 I would just drop the anime/manga before giving it a chance so that I don't look like a prick lol

My fav all time anime is Death Note because I'm a sucker into god complex / psychological themed animes :D
(well to be fair, the Death Note anime being the 1st anime I've ever watched is what got me into psychological and drama themed animes)
