Alot of speculation on what all this could mean, but i honestly hope its not another naruto manga work sequel. Cause it really should just end. I wouldn't mind another original work or something though. It also seems there will be different events can't wait to hear more bout this.
So whats your whole take on Naruto ending. I am honestly pretty sad bout it and feel as though the story will not have a conclusive end in the source material. There is just to many things hanging, that can't possibility be resolved in just 5 chapters. Naruto's hokage status, Sasuke's ultimate realization of his goals, again Orichimaru, i mean wtf, why bring that guy back to life to serve no purpose. This irritates me, and the pairings and naruto and sasuke's resolution to there conflict.
So yeah i feel as though kishimoto is lazy and just doesn't want to write anymore and instead try and resolve everything through the use of the film. Now i guess thats a good way to go out with a bang with high budget and everything but i have never heard of author taking this route before. Just strange to me.
Also what gets me is that in the trailer of the film he mentioned it being "Part of a larger project" Could this mean there might be a multitude of films, or maybe a "sequal to naruto" Just thinking out loud.
hmm well now that i think bout. Sasuke is really not a true villain in a sense, he's like an antihero. He wants to completely change the system and its not like it came out of no where, this was heavily forshadowed way back, but we were so blind about how sasuke seemingly changed in the previous fight that we failed to predict this sort of scenario.
Either way it all depends upon how kishimoto will go about showcasing this in the story. If it just ends up being one mad insane fight, then it won't hold any weight to it. Some of these goals, and sasuke's ambition need to be realized to some extent, a true revolution will begin, similar to the hashirama and madara history. That is something i would LOVE to see. In any case i hope this arc extends beyond just a simple final battle if you know what i mean.
I'm really not sure what to think of this. This seems kind of abrupt. I was more on the side of sasuke not having any more vengeance in his heart and after understanding the truth and the history of his people, that he would finally change. I liked how this was going. The fact that kishimoto just suddenly caused him to go insane again. It is like Illusions of grandeur. Well i guess thats Sasuke vs Naruto battle will happen after all then.
Hopefully its not another long winded fight and thats the end of it, if kishimoto is going to use this as a plot device, he needs to follow through with it, actually show Sasuke's ideals come to realization and maybe orochimaru will have a part to play or something.
Yeah, I have the same feeling. I don't know, I really hope that the real ending of the series, is going to be in a Naruto movie.
Same. Really missed Madara, should have been the final antagonist, oh well.
Agreed. The S06P is a really interesting character, and I like his background history. I get the feeling that his brother might become relevant, or I'm at least interested in what happened to his brother.
Kagyua felt really off. There is things about her that are not clear. In why she listens and obey what BZ said, if he is really her will? why does she seem disheartned at the idea of killing Naruto. Her face panels, give her a lot of subtlety, I think she had a lot of potential to be a great character. So far Kagyua's inclusion seems really pointless, I don't get the reason for her, unless the author just brought her, for a final big plot twist.
Same here. I would love to see a classic techinical fight between Naruto and Sasuke, after they lose their powers (which I hope they do). I'm really interested in Sasuke's character, and upcoming conflicts with Naruto and in general about his vision of peace, and following his brother's ideals.
I have one piece of amazing news lol. The war is finally OVER!!!
Now its time to see where the story will head from here. In any case that means that this arc has finally concluded i think. will see next chapter though. But its looking like the upcoming chapter is the start of a new arc or a new direction in the story.

I'm still quite depressed about this. I feel like a part of me is dying.
I still had that bit hope, that it will end early January and the movie won't be canon, but the signs were too strong..
