First I have to say that I´m a huge fan of the Final Fantasy franchise. I didn´t play the original game Final Fantasy VII, but I played Crisis Core and are familar with FFVII´s story.
This OVA tells the story of Denzel, a boy who lost his parents by the collapse of the Sector 7 plate. He now wants to join the World Regenesis Organization (WRO) to help other people. Then the story leaps back into Denzel´s past. The story is really touching and sad. My opinion: I loved this OVA. I don´t really like the other Final Fantasy movies, but this was really touching. A must-watch ...

Ikkitousen: Dragon Destiny is the sequel of Ikkitousen and continues the story around Sonsaku Hakufu and the battle between the three schools.
Story: The story is based on the novel "Romance of the three kingdoms". It continues where the first season ended. Of course, there are lots of fights, pantys and breasts^^ But it´s not only fanservice. I liked the story. There may be better animes, but I really enjoyed Dragon Destiny. Characters: The characters are mostly girls. Hot girls. I think there´s a girl for every guys taste xD The (a bit stupid^^) leader of Nanyo Sonsaku Hakufu, the cool Seito fighter Kan-u Unchou, the bookworm Ryuubi Gentoku... ...

Marmalade Boy is a shoujo romance-comedy manga by Wataru Yoshizumi.
Story: Two couples decide to get divorced and swap partners with another couple, then marry again. Sounds hilarious? Yeah, it is hilarious, but also very funny. Not only the adults, but also their children, Miki and Yuu, fall in love with each other. There are lots of the typical shoujo stuff, but also comedical and sad moments. I liked the story and the humor^^ Characters: The main characters are Miki and her new stepbrother Yuu. They didn´t like each other when they first met, but later fell in love. There are lots of supporting characters, like Meiko (Miki´s friend), ...

First I have to say that I´m not a Naruto fan. Nevertheless I read this novel and really liked it.
The novel tells the same story as the first few manga volumes. Naruto becomes a ninja and soon he has to do his first job: protecting workers that build a bridge. And they have to fight the strong and dangerous ninja Zabuza. I don´t really know anything about the Naruto universe, but I think that this novel is a must-read for true fans. And of course all others, too^^ |
