If you have ever taken a mythology course or simply read some stories about ancient creationist myths, then you are familiar with accepting the way things happen with no real deep explanation as to why. We accept great happenings as being okay because usually they involve gods or very simply the notion of them is so charming or ridiculous that we let it slide for the enjoyment of the story.

After watching "Wake up Girls" and listening to plenty of idolm@ster songs, I decided I had a weak spot for idol shows. I just finished watching NHK and as I usually like to do, switch off to something light before picking up another heavy show.

I could write essay's on my #1 anime, spending hours discussing the beauty of this sadly little known gem, however I am just going to say watch it. I have many favorites I would recommend, but Tatami Galaxy is the only show I believe EVERYONE should see. The show moves at a blistering speed and I would not fault anyone for having to pause ever so often to take in language and visual art, each frame of which, while not technically complex, is just dripping with flavor and life. Bakemonogatari ranks in at my top 3 despite not being a perfect 10 by any means, but still in my memory as being one the most thoroughly enjoyable watch throughs my first time around and still juicy to rematch.
The show's strongest points go toward it's character designs, excellent dialogue, and some of Digital Shaft's best implementation of their signature style.
