Usually I prefer 2D animation but I was thinking recently that something like Tsubasa could actually benefit from 3D animation. I’ve been playing Rise of New Champions and the cinematic cut scenes in that game look pretty damn cool. Certainly much better than the latest anime adaptation, which I thought looked very average. At least in terms of animation.

Absolutely didn't expect another season, and seeing the OG staff return even if not DaviPro is relieving, getting a full adaptation of the OG is great and hope they'll keep it coming.

Great news!
It's been almost 4 years since the remake ended, so i really didn't expect them to actually make a sequel. Let's just hope they don't retell the 1st and 2nd arc for the 5th or 6th time. 😅

This is the 4th anime adaptation of Captain Tsubasa. I wonder if they actually manage to continue this one. I’ve never seen an anime with more than 1 remake. Tsubasa has 3.

Nice! I haven't seen the remake, but it's good that a remade version of such classic will receive a classic.

Didn't see that coming, So finally they decided to adapt the first manga fully. I wonder how many episodes this season would have, Shin captain tsubasa almost did it in 13 episodes. If I am not wrong, ending of first manga was never adapted in old anime.
Also i wonder is they plan on continuing to sequal manga world youth arc (there are like 5 sequals currently from what i am seeing)

Nice, more Captain Tsubasa is always welcome. While I'll miss David Pro, Studio KAI should be fine and most of the key staff is returning as well. Sucks that the anime was licensed again by VIZ though.
