I hate to break it to you, but theres no such thing as a perfect adaptation. there's no way they can fit in all the details. as long as it's not s3 level I'll be happy

To be honest, I'm quite disappointed, they're adapting too many light novel volumes, I wish I could say they're going to do a good job because it's the arc of kurumi but I can't say because the arc of mukuro is equally good and I'm at least not liking it.

Next episode will end Mukuro Family, and for the last four, we will get Kurumi Refrain, and maybe Kurumi Ragnarok. A bit fast paced in my opinion.

lol I don't get why these popular LN's keep getting shitty adaptations

Mahouka, Index, SAO, [insert generic rom-com], etc...

No dude don't say that I want this season end with volume 16 and make a new season for volume 17-20 and last 2 volumes with movie and if volume 17 adopted in remaining episodes then I think there is very low chances for season 5 and don't want them rushed to end series

It's just more difficult to adapt than a manga, 1 novel volume has way more content than 1 manga volume. For a perfect adaptation I think we will need to adapt a single volume or maximum two in a season. Still good LN adaptations exist, like 86 as far as I know from fans(all season 1 was just the first volume).

Now I don't want a 100% perfect adaptation, but I don't want a shitty one either(like season 3 or Date a Bullet... or the fact that this new studio can't draw Limited Astral Dresses)

If animes try to go slower than 3 ln volumes per season, guaranteed they wont finish.

The pacing is more or less the same as re zero, mushoku. I dont think vol 17 will be in season 4. That would mean 2 eps for vol 16 and 17 and a lot happens in 16 and 17. Vol 15 was trimmed since they skipped the shrine visit and a lot of that novel was the fairy tale.

Re:zero(s2) and Mushoku are 4 episodes per volume. DaL is 2-3, it's a pretty big difference.

86: Haha we'll see about that...

I'll take your word for it since I haven't seen it.

Re:zero(s2) and Mushoku are 4 episodes per volume. DaL is 2-3, it's a pretty big difference.

Mushoku finished 6 volumes after 2 cours. DAL finished 7 volumes after 2 cours. RZ finished vol 15 after 4 cours. DAL will finish vol 16 after 4 cours. Your point? Mushoku, RZ, DAL still have very fast pacing. Often times animes take it so slow they can do 1-2 volumes per cours and end up so far behind

Mushoku has 23 episodes for 6 volumes. DaL has 21 episodes for 7 volumes, 2 episodes less and 1 volume more. S1 and S2, and S3 were 5 volumes, with the 12th episode being adapted into a 1 episode.
About re:zero, I specified that I was talking about S2. Re:zero only has a similar adaptation to DaL in the second part of S1 (volume 4-9) and even then they cut OP and ED and the episodes are longer. In S2, there are episodes of up to 30 minutes without OP and ED, and only 6 volumes were adapted, and there were 25 episodes.

DaL S3 and S4 will be 9 volumes (if have volume 17 it will be 10), and Mushoku is 6, and rezero S2 is 6. Can you see the big difference?
