Hi, just wanna start watching fate UBW, but i realised there is a prologue of that. Is it necessarry to watch or i can skip it? Thank you!!

It's basically episode 1 and you won't understand the context without it, it's kinda stupid how they separated it but it's the prologue for all the routes in the VN

I'd watch it. It shows how a character became a master and how they got and summoned their servant. It's not anything major if you don't watch it but i would definitely watch it if I were you. It also just has a cool fight

It's basically the first episode although I don't think it's necessary but it'll definitely make your experience a lot better since it shows the point of view of a major character and it's only just 1 episode so there's no point in skipping it

It is important to watch for sure. I actually love that they did it this way as it gives the show a lot of time to give development early on.

the prolouge is from Rin's perspective while the UBW is from Shiro's perspective. Should definitely watch it, as it is prior to events of UBW

Don’t skip it, it is basically episode 1 but for whatever reason they decided to separate it.

Yes, if you don't wanna watch it, I recommend watching the first 3 episodes of fate stay night(2006), its basically the prologue and episode 1(both adding up to like 1 hour and 30 mins) and compressing it into a 1-hour watch

If you’ve never watched Fate/Stay Night 2006, don’t skip it because it provides context.

If you’ve watched Fate/Stay Night 2006, don’t skip it because it’s a treat to your eyes with the anime remake.

It’s 45 min but just treat it as 2 episodes. It’s worth it.

Even so I’d recommend watching the prologue because the remake is worth watching. Some eyegasm.

I’d certainly recommend to watch it but it’s not 100% necessary either. I just don’t know why you wouldn’t tbh.

No, prologue was completely unnecessary. If you care about not wasting your time, don't watch it.

It isn't needed, but it's a great bonus.
I didn't even know it was a prologue, it was just ep 1 of UBW on Netflix.
