Both have the same girl to deity plot and the same scenario where the deity has to deal with other deities. The girl in one anime is a weakling, while the girl in the other anime can kick ass. The deity's job in one anime is to protect the girl, while the deity in the other anime wants to be famous because he isn't that popular.

Both anime are about "gods" (Soul Eater: Shinigami). In both anime, some characters can change into a weapon and be used by their partner. In both anime, the "gods" (can) fight some sort of a monster that isn't human or another normal animal. They're also fun to watch. :)

Both series deal with spirits and youkai and the exorcism of them but Noragami is perhaps more entertaining

The great main characters in both animes are feel the same. The world that contains magic also very similar. And the comedy and action is great in both.

Both supernatural shows that incorporate Japanese mythology and spirits, with a human female protagonist/narrator and a supernatural male lead with a secretive and dark past.

Both anime are about a girl who can turn into a ghost (but in Noragami it isn't as permanent). The main male character is helping the girl out to turn back to normal.

it is simillar treat as spirit world and curses but Noragami is about easier and relaxed start but it makes development is actually scary. in jujutsu all curses is like chakra from naruto. it is more about fights and techniques both have fighs and spirit/curses. you may like only one or both.

If supernatural is an ingredient, then it be part of a recipe for both Bakemonogatari and Noragami. Not only do they involve supernatural beings but also legends that blurs the lines between fiction and reality. Both series involves action, drama, and comedy with humorous dialogues. Bakemongatari focuses more on word play and narrative dialogues while Noragami uses gags for comedy. The main protagonist in both series gets involved with events that puts their lives in danger. There is also a bit of influence from folklore and legends relating to various cultures to some degrees.

Like Noragami, Bungou Stray Doys talks about a MC who does not have a home, and he is stray. Both anime are pretty dark with good fights, and pretty funny too And how can I forget, they both have "fight words" for their special powers

Noragami is like Bleach without all the fillers. The main characters meet in a similar way, one of them (Ichigo/Hiyori) gets a power thanks to the other one (Rukia/Yato). In both animes they fight against ghosts/monsters and there are more characters that come from a different world where it's quite normal to have the powers to see (and fight) those monsters.

Noragami's anime original end is a blatant copy of what happened between Kenshin and Jinnei in Rurouni Kenshin. Formerly kill-happy (during the samurai period) leads that no longer wish to kill are forced by another character from their pasts to fight with the intent to kill once more. In both series, the already FAR more pacifistic leads became even 'softer' after interacting with useless-outside-of-romance heroines, and the heroines lives are threatened in an attempt to make the leads have the desire to kill once more. I had noticed Noragami is basically Rurouni Kenshin but not a period piece in terms of characterisation earlier, given Yato's goofy  read more

Very similar protagonists. Both are poor and do odd jobs from strangers for some cash. Both Gintoki and Yato are seen as mostly goofballs but have very dark pasts and made many enemies along the way. The series are both relatively lighthearted and comedic but have moments of high intensity and action.

Rinne ( Shinigami) and Yato ( God) are both poor. Rinne goes to school but Yato doesn't'. They do request from people or help lost souls. In return they ask for money or some other offering for their work. Every little counts for them. The main female helps them with their daily routine and soon has a better understanding.

Neither the story nor the characters of Noragami have anything in similar to that of Inuyasha. However, there is a similar "feel" to both of them. -The main heroins of both anime accidentally come into contact with another world. -Both male lead have a past unknown to the human girl, and a woman from their past. -The supporting characters are friends who can be counted upon. -Spirits or demons hunting are daily occurrences. Inu Yasha is a lengthy anime with a well thought plot and many incidences, where as Noragami is only 12 episode long adaptation of the manga series.

Solving problems, offering deals, and dealing with spiritual apparitions. Noragami and xxxHOLiC offer an experience like no other with its supernatural themes. Both series' main male protagonist are involved with dealing with conflicts that deals with supernatural phenomenons. They take place in a traditional/modern setting with various gags. The supporting characters also play various roles that influences each conflict. There is a good mixture of comedy, drama, and emotional basis that makes both series enjoyable.

Supernatural battles and a similar student/mentor relationship at the center. The "mentors" (Yato and Reigen, respectively) are often silly/comic relief/over-the-top, but they can and do get serious for the sake of their students and are genuinely good mentors to them. Also have similar monster designs.

+ Both are action stories with supernatural and comedic elements. + They fight and kill monsters in a very similar way to upbeat music. + Features a male main character with a tragic past, who is dorky and silly, yet can be serious when necessary.

Both series focus on characters involved in the supernatural world and take a "monster of the week" approach (though Noragami is more action-centric compared to Natsume Yuujinchou which is more character-centric).

Noragami has similarities to Dororo in that they both feature main characters who are samurai-like who are killing demons (or spirits in the case of Noragami). They both have a main protagonist who is accompanied with a younger side-kick like character. The main difference between the two is the time periods (Noragami takes place in the modern era) and that the main protagonists have different personalities. Still, there are enough similarities that you would likely like the other if you like one.

"Noragami" and "Blood Blockade Battlefront" / "Kekkai Sensen" are two supernatural action series by Studio Bones focusing on individuals with special abilities battling against creatures from another world. These two shows contain high-impact fight sequences in an alternate modern urban setting. Also, the protagonist of both shows is a formerly normal person who suddenly gets dragged into the situation, though each respectively has a different reason as to why they continue to cooperate.

Both have supernatural creatures and another invisible "world" that cannot be seen by normal humans. Both have normal people forgetting the presence of people that were affected by the "other world." Both MCs have long "katana like" swords. The flame hazes can be the gods of Noragami. Both have a girl that doesn't fight but gets involved with the "other world." Both have antagonists that have many "pawns/weapons."

In my opinion these two are sort of under rated/unknown series (especially FnM) compared to the mainstream ones and end up not getting enough attention, even tho they both deserve more! They are different from eachother but yet have some strong common points: - supernatural genre is a very important theme to both, although Noragami tends to have more action while FnM gets to be more dramatic - creatures like gods, ayakashi, youkai, spirits and whatsover are daily routine for both stories (Noragami is specially mainly setted on gods) - both main characters have to deal with exorcisms, particoularly FnM, but while the usual term "exorcism" is treated  read more

"Just like Mushishi but with more action!" That's what I thought after a few episodes. Both anime are dealing with a beings from a different world that blends with our reality and affects people. The first and most similar thing that both anime share is the close bond and friendship the "masters" have with their "servants" in Noragami's case, the bond the Gods have with their Regalia/Shinki and in Servamp the bond the Eve's have with their Servamps. Also Servamps can have subs(lesser vampires created by and working for them) and they treat these lesser vampires like their own family, which is another similarity to how some Gods treat their Shinki in Noragami. These two anime don't really have similar art or styles, however the main concept is pretty similar. They both have a god-solving-problems thing going on; and both gods have problematic pasts. Furthermore they're both assisted by a human assistant, girls with whom they end up developing a relationship which is more overt in Noragami. While Loki Ragnarok focuses on Norse mythology Noragami plays into Shinto folklore, and gods roam around the human world in both of them. So if you're into exploring the relationship between gods, and enjoy a good dash of folklore in your anime, then enjoy!

The two MCs in Trickster have a very strong resemblance to Yato and Yukine in Noragami. So if you enjoy that relationship dynamic, you'll enjoy watching these two together. The plots are relatively similar as well: the MC carrying out a series of tasks, and the other begrudgingly tagging along for different reasons.

In both of them, the main character meets a deity/mermaid while on the edge of dying and hilarity ensues. Noragami is little darker in comparison to Seto No Hanayome, however both of them have their fun filled moments and the anime art style. In Ling Qi there is the head of a known exorcist family and in Noragami there is a not so well known god. These two won't work alone and will solve all the problems and fights alone, because they work with a spirit they have chosen. In Ling Qi the spirit is despite his age almost as immature as the young spirit in Noragami. Both anime deals between all the tasks and fighting scenes also about the relationship between those two, the spirit and exorcist/god.

I know these shows are extremely different, but please hear this out first. Both of these were animated by Studio Bones which is a great studio that also produced Fullmetal Alchemist and Boku no Hero Academia. They are great at animation, so Noragami will have that. They all have great opening themes and music, and they all have great casts of characters that are funny, quirky, and original. Wondering. Cowboy Bebop and Noragami both follow protagonists with deep backstories ending up almost stranded with nothing better to do than performing tasks given to them as a job. As time progresses in each story, different people from different backgrounds join together to create a primary group, though the intentions of the various characters vary from one another despite being in the same group. The comedy and how the main character acts some times is similar. Also, they are both great. They are both fantasy-ish. However, No Game No Life is set in another world based more on playing strategy games while Noragami has its fantasy set in the real world and fight monsters or other gods. Both main characters of both worlds are clever and fight with resolve. Also, both animes have multiple gods in them.

Both have demons, not fully alive-but not dead either characters, a guy looking like kid, who is not what he seems like. Similar sense of humour. If you enjoyed one, I'm sure you will like the other one.

Both have a similar feel and atmosphere. Moreover, the male leads on both show is considered to be in the lower social strata. Both male leads also have a dark past that was masked by their cheerful personality. The action and romance genre on both shows fit nicely, too. Rakudai Kishi no Cavalry, however, has more fan service than Noragami as it is leaning more on a wholesome show.

Watching Noragami I remebered Tactics, as they have similar feeling about them, action, and bishounen mystical kami/yokai/spirits characters.

Noragami and RDG are similar with the supernatural genre mixed with some fantasy. Noragami is blatently dealing with demi gods and goddesses, whereas RDG is dealing with acient dieties and spirits through possession. Both are very reminiscent of each other.

Lets say I just had a similar feeling while watching both anime Both have humour and a something dark in it, though zettai karen is a bit darker Both main characters have special powers Both have someone who is new to the situation and doesn't except it easily (Noragami - Yukine, Zettai - Andy) And both are just awesome

Both anime have supernatural non human characters in both urban/fantazy settings. Their styles are similar - with figting action and comedy+ drama. Though Noragami is a short series, it resembles Nurarihyon no Mago, just characters have kami's (gods) powers.

i couldn't say it has the same story or theme but it give me same atmosphere and feeling

Both series involve a protagonist who is trying to escape their dark past as someone who killed people for a living. Both protagonists also befriend a young teenager/child who has the ability to turn into a weapon. They have similar personalities and even have the same English voice actor. Both series are able to blend comedy with a more serious tone. They also both have a tough guy character who smokes heavily and wears a pink apron sometimes.

This is a weird pairing, but they both show characters with a sudden weakening characteristics. They are also deeply rooted in finding evil that grows in you and destroying it. Both anime also have characters who are trying to gain a higher standing among their own, and both focus on the worlds of gods.

Phantoms are very popular in the field of anime nowadays. Last season, we watched how Yato, Hiyori and Yukine fought the Phantoms in the anime, "Noragami Aragoto". This season, another action-packed and interesting anime will display how teamwork and friendship able to annihilate the Phantoms that cause chaos in the world.

AnY and Noragami don't have much in common, but I think you might enjoy one if you liked the other. They both have a plethora of interesting and well-developed characters, an interesting plot (which is not overthrown by romance), and supernatural beings. Besides, the dynamics Hiyori/Yato/Yukine and Yona/Hak/dragons are really funny to watch : both are about people who thought they were normal discovering how large is the world. Most important, they gave me the same vibe of enjoyment ; if you don't care about an anime being shojo/shonen, go for it !

Like Noragami, Charlotte features characters with special abilities. In Noragami the characters are gods and phantoms, the characters in Charlotte are more like superheroes. But both series have a serious storyline with very comedic situations mixed in. Both are blends of drama and comedy.

Both animes deal with paranormal gods and spirits who implicate themselves with humans their dynamics with them. Gugure is more light hearted and is a fun slice of life watch, whilst Noragami is also great, like Gugure but more mature and with a continuing plot - very intriguing one at that. Noragami and Gugure both have a host of colorful characters that certainly add to the shows' fascinating lore.

Both have sorts of Gods that have to destroy the evil Both have evil spirits that try to get human souls Both have some sort of stain when "darkness" touches it However, noragami has a different atmosphere than ghost...Noragami is funnier while ghosts is more dramatic

Protagonists in the show are living a normal teenage life when suddenly they are involved with supernatural stuff and magic. The shows are involved in gods and religions, the female protagonist is both shows wasn't very fond of the male leads in the first place, through adventures they slowly develop feelings towards the male lead. ( In Campione romance is part of the plot while Noragami it is just a hint of romance. )

I think both shows have a similar supernatural concept. I just watched five episodes of Yuu Yuu Hakusho and i think it's very similar to Noragami. Iki Hiyori's soul is apart from her body while she is slept and Urameshi Yusuke while he got an accident (Actually he is death)...

Both series deal with a fairly ordinary person (Hiyori and Kyon) who ends dealing with an irresponsible, slightly crazy, god (Haruhi and Yato). In both cass the other characters are mostly also extraordinary beings. Although Noragami is slightly more serious, both series contain large amouts of slapstick comedy mixed in with some more intense moments. The tone is quite different, but I sincerly recommend watching both.

Both are very spiritual series that features entities that can transform into weapons. Both main characters are laid back and are often underestimated.

Both have romance, adventure and I find the main characters to be similar in how they meet and the relationship slowly develops and they fall for each other, both are amazing

Similar action comedy concept, and also have similar style with Gintama. And then the main protagonist, Yato also has similar background and personality like Gintoki. Also both of Yato and Gintoki are swordsmen.

While Noragami is a bit darker in nature, both share a supernatural element of a human girl getting involved with the world of supernatural beings, demons, spirits etc. There are hints of romance, but the main focus in both are the adventures between the human and supernatural beings.

Both share a similar premise: a girl is on the verge of death, two boys try to help her. The three main characters in each show create a family of sorts. Supernatural elements and godly figures also play a role in both shows.

Both are funny stories that deal with the main characters using their abilities in order to make money, and both have other serious subplots.

Teenage boy introduces teenage girl into a new type of lifestyle. In Lucy's case she is introduced to Fairytail and in Hiyori's case she is introduced to world filled with gods, and phantoms. Both pairs ultimately form a strong friendship and have a hint of possible romance. Noragami and Fairytail are both great anime's featuring interesting character and are both packed with comedy.

A tsundere teams up with a guy who happens to have somewhat of an idiot personality after a certain incident. But seriously, Yato reminds me a lot of Kazuki (And vice-versa).

Although Ao Haru Ride is not supernatural, there are similarities. Such as: Both main characters get closer in each episode. Boy MC cares for the girl MC in their own way. Girls personalities are quite similar. Cute moments :3

-Both have a male lead character with special powers and bright blue eyes -Both male leads are considered outcasts of their kind -The male lead is powerful, can be scary and has a dark or sad past. -But the male lead still has a kind and silly side -Both male leads have a younger brother sort of character that they feel protective over -The female leads both butt heads with the male lead, but still values their friendship -Both settings have elements of traditional Japanese homes, temples and traditions, along with more modern elements of Japanese culture. ==However i would recommend watching Noragami if you have already seen Kaze no Stigma..but  read more
