Is it evil to take over the world by force if you intend to save it? That is the question. A story by the author of KONOSUBA, same humor, different world.
Story: Okay, so the protagonist teleports to another world, which has a demon lord that declared war on the humans. The prophecy says that a hero shall appear and save them. Honestly I got bored with this plot line about 15 isekai stories ago. But this one is original enough to make this particular story stand out. An "Evil Organization" conquered earth and now they want a new planet to take over.
This being why
our protagonist is teleported to another world. But unfortunately this is where the protagonist start becoming a typical "Save The World" hero. Even though he is a solider for an evil organization, he isn't actually evil. He starts to work with a kingdom in the new world to fight the demon lord. So while the "goal" is to conquer the world, first the protagonist need to defeat the Demon King.... L.O.L
Art: The art is absolutely amazing when it comes to ecchi, the ladies are really beautiful and sexy. So those are nice to look at, but the more "normal" illustrations fail to impress, especially when showing of the male protagonist during combat. It looks sloppy and mainstream without any kind of originality. Though that might be due to character designs and not actually the art itself, since a plain dude in black clothes is the standard.
Characters: Let's start with Six, the protagonist. He is a hard man to understand, he can act like a jerk and totally throw someone else under the bus, he's not a typical nice guy character, he likes to say whatever he wants without a care in the world. BUT! While he might sound harsh, he still wants to save the world, not only that, he doesn't really wanna kill all the Demons either... *harem in the works*
And then we have the Android, Alice, that followed him to the new world, she's a young looking cutie and she explains to people that Mr Six is a brain damaged weirdo, so people should simply ignore the awkward stuff Six might say or do. What does that say about Alice? A cool beauty with a sharp tough? She can apparently blow herself up like a nuke too. That's our Alice, the high-spec Android. *laugh*
Overall, I'm bored with isekai, but this one is almost as fun as Konosuba. While it's not a masterpiece, it is good enough to pick up if you do like the genre. They have a good system for the "item purchase" and the world itself is interesting, of course there are plenty of beautiful ladies. Unfortunately, I started getting bored when the protagonist started to become more of a hero. Rather than killing enemies, he let's them live. He starts helping more and more people. Thus making this just another of [those] stories.
