Amane lives alone in an apartment, and the most beautiful girl in school, Mahiru, lives just next door. This story started out decent enough to be enjoyable, even though it is as generic as it gets.
This starts with the characters:
mmc: your typical average no self-esteem loser dude, that can't cook or even keep his own flat tidy. And of course he is dense as fuck.
fmc: perfect - beautiful, can do anything (except getting friends).
O, and there are mmc's friends, it's a couple, who would've guessed, right?
The story is also nothing new, which isn't a bad thing per se; they are neighbors, she starts cooking for him, he says it's the best thing on the entire planet, which makes sense because she is perfect after all.
From there on not much happens - they get closer. At some point they are a couple and that's it.
Nothing more will happen. It just gets as repetitive as possible.
Their relationship does not progress at all, because they are stuck. The reason for that is on the one hand the mmc. Like mentioned before: he is a loser. Whenever she does something he starts to self-deprecate himself. She could stand naked in front of him and say "bang me like there is no tomorrow", yet he would still think she lost her clothes accidentally and misspoke or think "what could she mean?" - seriously, dude, grow some balls. Also his holier-than-thou-act is pretty tiresome.
The fmc starts out better, but later on she did start to regress. All she does is pouting. Kinda understandable at some point, she seems like she wants the D, but he is a monk, so that won't happen.
Which brings us to the recipe for the last dozen of chapters:
some subjects comes up, one of them (fmc mostly) starts pouting, the other one wants to comfort. But no, not enough yet, there needs to be more pouting. Then they will make up with a hug or something.
Rinse and repeat.
Well there is still your "omg, (s)he touched me, I need to blush like crazy".
Guess this is supposed to be "fluff" or some shit? read more

It's the same as any other Light Novel you know. Girl is famous, Guy's common and isn't special, but then the girl begins to have some interest in the guy.
Maybe it’s just my personal enjoyment, but still I think, that this book's quite enjoyable.
The stories did always put a smile on my face, with cute situations, or just wholesome moments. There of course are funny moments too, with for example the side character teasing, the situation they are in, trying not to get seen and so on…
I think that it‘s more of a realistically based book. It doesn't have any stupid or too embarrassing actions, like "I love her, so I'm gonna confess to her in front of the whole school!", or something. Of course, you don't live next to a beautiful girl. But everything are decisions you'd probably do IF you did.
The Novel continues in a straight pattern, where by time the Protagonists begin to know each other more and more and get close to each other. There’s no such thing like losses or heartbreaking, which makes this book perfect for people like me, who prefer cute and wholesome books.
So, if you want to buy this book for anything too unnatural or strange, then I wouldn't recommend it.
