non-BL/GL manga with queer representation

tried to include newer series based on me being pleasantly surprised on finding queer rep or just queerness being mentioned at all (positively). i didn’t include non-BL/GL manga that are known for being focused on LGBTQ identities this is more for representation in places u wouldn’t expect to find it.
forgive me if i miss older series, i was also hesitant on what would count as positive rep
everything here is canon! if there’s smth that isn’t Explicitly depicting queerness i’ll probably say it as an additional note
whenever i say ‘doesnt have a confirmed gender’ the character could be nonbinary, i just dont like stating things if they aren’t explicitly labelled
i try not to name characters when it can be a spoiler, for background characters i might just not rmr/know their names bc they’re irrelevant to main story (can be a one-off character or nameless NPCs)
also if the queer rep is just Bad i might keep it off the list, like i thought of putting mirai nikki but.. it’s so ass </3 still love akise aru tho
