Manga
If you're looking for a shoujo manga with well-written characters, stay away from the mangas that appear on this list!
On the other hand, if you want to spend your time laughing at all the bullshit the characters say or do,then this is your tea!

The characters are flat and stereotyped. They often say or do ridiculous things (even the professor of the protagonists' class!).
I expect something like this if I read a manga like Sensei Kushu which tries to make a deliberate comedy out of these facts or dialogues, but in this manga they take themselves seriously and this makes them quite cringe.
In fact, reading this manga is often embrassing.
An honorable mention goes to the protagonist's best friend and her boyfriend, who are the stupidest and most insufferable supporting characters I've ever found in a shoujo manga.

The only good thing about this manga are the drawings.

Most of the characters (the protagonist and some of the main characters included)in this manga are so poorly written that by comparing one of the first chapters with one of the last chapters you will realize that although they have the same name and more or less the same appearance you will find in front of you two completely different characters.
The main characters of some "narrative arcs" disappear and never reappear in the plot without giving us any explanation, while others will disappear and appear randomly in the plot when it suits the author more.
Even some of the protagonist's "friends" are so poorly written that they feel to be part of her group of friends just to increase the number of the main cast.
Most of the side characters acts like idiots from how poorly written they are.
The plot is inconsistent and senselessly long and full of drama, so much so that at times it seems less credible and more embarrassing than one of the poorest soap operas you can imagine.

Mikansei Lovers

The characters in Mikansei Lovers are not very developed (for example the professor is practically a cameo) but despite this I found them cute.
I don't really agree with the relationship between the two protagonists, given that the male protagonist is still a middle school student while the female protagonist is studying to enter university, however I have to admit that as adults I'm not disgusted that they stayed together.
I recommend this manga to anyone who is still new to shoujo manga because it's a nice and short read, but nothing special.
I don't think it's worth rereading it a second time, even if you're feeling nostalgic.

If you are very young you might really like this genre of manga. Otherwise it could bore you and make you roll your eyes a lot due to the immature way of reasoning and acting of the main characters.

I recommend this manga to those who are fans of the song of the same name by the Vocaloid GUMI and to those who are professor x student manga fans.
Otherwise I warn you, the characters think and do rather stupid things to advance the plot, and in the end the comic ends leaving many plot holes.
Plus the character development is embarrassing.

Ok,I admit it. Even though I struggled to read it until the last chapter, this is one of the mangas that I would gladly reread in the future.
The protagonist is completely stupid. It's clearly a parody of shoujo mangas (at least I hope so).

The female protagonist is an androgynous, serious, introverted girl with no experience in romantic relationships. In fact, she is very insecure when the male lead starts to show interest in her as no one before him had ever actually considered her as a possible romantic interest, probably due to her androgynous and unfeminine appearance.
The male protagonist, on the other hand, is a popular, handsome, rich boy with a playboy attitude and great experience in terms of romantic relationships.
For the entire manga (still ongoing) the two main characters will be nothing other than this.
The secondary characters are so poorly developed that I'm not even sure they have proper names.
Only recently two of them seem to be starting to have a development in the background of the events, trying to create a romantic relationship between them.

The main couple of this manga is made up of two characters with such boring and flat personalities that any secondary character ends up being more interesting than them.
The male protagonist is the typical most popular boy in high school, who never smiles, with a reserved and taciturn attitude.
On the other hand, the female protagonist is an energetic and innocent girl, with a kind nature and a crybaby attitude.
Despite being more adorable than beautiful and charismatic, and not having an interesting personality, the protagonist will end up becoming the romantic interest of three characters throughout the duration of the manga.
The first to fall in love with her will be her childhood friend, who after a few chapters will cease to be relevant as a rival in love with the male lead, becoming more of a comedic relief, coupled with a minor character (but despite this, more interesting than the heroine).
As if that wasn't enough, towards the end of the manga he will become so irrelevant that he will almost completely disappear.
The second rival in love on the other hand, although in my opinion he is the male character with the best personal growth in the entire manga... is a rival in love only by name as he has NEVER ONCE had the chance to even be considered by the heroine.
Therefore not only the characters are written in a questionable way, but also the love triangles are written so badly as to be unnecessary.
In summary, any secondary character is better developed than the two main characters and their love story and once their story is concluded they are dropped from the main plot.
