I thought this was an interesting title. At first I was a bit uncertain because of the warning this manga came with: "Warning, the material you are attempting to view has been deemed 'mature' by our standards. However, if you are still willing to continue you will need to confirm this dialog. That's all there is to it, we take no further responsibility for any unintentional mental scarring that might occur. Do you wish to continue?" I finally decided to read it (mostly because I'm kinda into Latin right now and 'equus' means 'horse' in Latin) and I'm glad I did. Only four chapters have been scanalated, and I thought they were pretty good. The summary does a good job of giving you an idea of what the manga is going to be like. est em gives this simple, yet beautiful, manga an intriguing vibe that's a bit hard to come across.

Story: 9
The concept of centaur relationships with humans is very unique, especially in a yaoi. At first I was bit worried about what I would see regarding the sexual scenes, as this was a YAOI with CENTAURS, but the one chapter that is 'explicit' really wasn't that bad. I think some regular hard yaoi can be much more scarring. The rest of the chapters didn't contain anything strange, on the contrary, they were quite beautiful and absolutely worth the read. The mood is sort of wistful and you can sense the LONGING the characters have for one another. It's a fairly light read, but not so light as to seem silly.

Art: 9
The art was also very good. I don't like it when the characters come across as too girly or too masculine, and I think the art here did a good job of achieving a nice balance. I liked the casual drawing style of this manga.

The feelings of the characters come across as strong and pure. None of the characters are too hotheaded or cold. No characters are excessively overbearing or weak. Their personalities and actions are moderate, but their feelings give this manga a subtle allure that makes you want to keep reading.

Enjoyment: 9
I really enjoyed this manga. It was very sweet and beautiful. The story, art and characters create a deceivingly simple masterpiece. I was unsure about the 'explicit' scenes, but ended up being very tolerable. In fact, the pure beauty of the rest of the chapters more than make up for any doubts I might have had regarding the sexual scenes (or SCENE, I should say).

This manga was a very good one. Good enough to make me write my very first review on it. I would definitely recommend this and would encourage you to read it despite any doubts you may be having. It is not a dry, boring manga, but don't except any fast-paced thrills either. This manga achieves a very delicate balance of all components a work can have, making it a masterpiece.
