Acchi Kocchi is a light-hearted comedy that resolves around the innocent love of two high school students.

What I liked:
- Relationship development
- Cute art

What I didn't like:
- Character's background stories are never revealed.
- Too many nosebleeds

Both the art and humour resemble lucky star but unlike that anime some romance is present in every episode.
It's refreshing to see a show that doesn't overemphasize the female body. A lot of blood was lost through the nose during this anime though, sometimes for no good reason, but at least the cause was always some girls getting excited over romantic lines.

Although the characters can be a bit predictable they form a good mix of personalities. These main characters never really change throughout the series nor are any background stories ever revealed. The cast does grow occasionally but those people don't reappear very often. What does seem to grow is the bond between the male and female protagonist but I would have liked to see it go a little bit further. (hopefully in a next season)

The music, sound and animations were all very modern with style switches for comedy or thoughts and graphical designs between different scenes.

Overall Acchi Kocchi is an anime I would recommend to all who like school life romance mixed with some good slapstick comedy.
