Basically, Kanoko, who has transferred schools 108 times before entering 10th grade because of her father's job, finally gets to her new high school along with her good friend Tsubaki. Kanoko is a master strategist, quite unlike the typical shoujo girls. She's calculating and has her faults. She's also oblivious that Tsubaki, typical shoujo perfect male lead like Ren, Yoh, Rui, etc, is very much in love with her. There was one part where she asks him something about why he's helping her and he's like "Just get it already" while leaning over her. UHHHH. Come on! Even I am not that oblivious lol. Kanoko is so adorable. I really enjoy one-sided romance in manga, especially when it's the hot guy crushing on the oblivious somewhat nerdy awkward girl.
So far it's pretty good and I enjoy school-based manga (plus the battle between the different clubs is interesting), so I'll continue reading!
