Mixed Feelings
Nice and heartwarming, but that's all.

Let's start with the positive aspects:
The series has quite an interesting premise. A fun way to expose the way all humans build masks to interact with others presented in the shape of the innocent perspective of a little girl.

Most of the characters of the series are very likeable and there's a good balance between their personalities. There is a nice chemistry between the main three protagonists and even the secondary characters are well introduced.
The animation is pretty with nice backgrounds and flowed scenes. The soundtrack is simple but helpful for building the atmosphere.

However, I could say that the biggest issue about this anime is the lack of complexity and surprise.
An important part of it is highly predictable. It's easy to infer where things are going and some scenes take way too long to reach the obvious. In addition to this, the dynamics of the show become repetitive after a while. These two things can make some parts a bit boring to watch. While many situations can potentially make you laugh, others may feel like a waste of time.
You know, the kind of things that may work in the manga format but doesn't translate well onto anime.

Even though the characters did get some development, a 24 episode season was way too much for such a little step.

I enjoyed the series as a whole despite its flaws. It's a good way to relax and have some fun to forget about your daily life. But I have the feeling that it's the kind of anime with a story that never really takes off.
Lots of wasted potential here.
It's such a shame because it could've been a memorable anime.
