I have always like anime where the MC has a basic ability that they use in the most ridiculously OP way and The Brilliant Healer's New Life in the Shadows is no different. Our MC doesn't have traditional healing magic despite him thinking his skills are basic and that does lead to some really funny moments! For a slower anime I was surprised by how well this series was animated. While I will say it seemed to add a lot of characters in rather quickly which led to less development on their end I still overall enjoyed the series and the characters.
