It's not exactly my style of fantasy, but it's growing on me. Some of it is just weird and misplaced. Like the whole god stone thing. Just strange. But it's not bad, just different, takes some getting used to. The creatures are a bit bland as well. Not a huge deal but I'm not getting any relatable villain type of vibes from it. Just plain evil orcs and monkeys type of deal. However, there is a greater "god" driving force that may become intriguing eventually.
The storytelling on a micro level is kind of jumpy. It doesn't always flow well. On the grander scale, it's intriguing.
So far I'd say if you like a good adventure type of story, world-building and action, you should watch this. If you are an animation snob, you should probably stay away. It's not awful animation but it's not at modern standards.
BTW I hate the whole isekai conversation. Who cares at this point? It's just a jumping-off point for these stories. This one in particular has been very minor with its isekai hook if that's something that bothers you. You hardly know it's an isekai if not for some minor conversations that occur.
