"You're not moving Blue Lock" - Oliver Aiku
Keeping the review short, the the second season of Blue Lock definitely have some big issues with its severe lack of animation.. on an sport anime.. to the point a lot games are just pngs moving around the screen with some shadow effects or something like that, sometimes the shoots and passes are not even animated either, the ball just flyies on (near) contact with the png at mach 20.
I would say the story itself is great, voice acting and SFX are pretty good and if you love Visual Novels or Audiobooks you could totally give it a watch, it will feel just like home, otherwise the manga may be unironically slighty better.
It's not the worst anime, but its very lacking.
