Mixed Feelings
Preliminary (3/14 eps)
I am rewriting my old review because MAL removed it, saying it was too negative and didn’t mention what I liked or disliked. Enough yapping, let’s get into the review.

**Story |**

As a sports anime, *Blue Lock* has an interesting idea centered around a project and experiment. However, that’s not the main reason to watch it. People tune in for the action, exciting matches, and thrilling moments.

**Rating: 7/10**

**Characters |**

The characters are well done, and they fit into the story nicely. Some of them are very likable, but I don’t think I need to explain more.

**Animation / Voice Acting / Soundtracks (OSTs)**

1. **Animation:**
The animation quality in *Blue Lock* Season 2 is not as good as in Season 1. The characters look inconsistent, and the movement is choppy, which takes away from the excitement of the soccer scenes. This is a big deal because animation is important in a sports anime. It seems like the studio rushed to release the season, hoping to make money quickly. As someone who enjoys the manga, I was really disappointed.

**In The last 4 episodes the animation level ascended very high no very very there was only the Rin vs Sai insane animation but you can the animators' passionate

**Rating: 4/10**

2. **Voice Acting:**
The voice acting is just as good as in the first season.

**Rating: 10/10**

3. **Soundtrack (OSTs):**
The soundtrack fits well in every scene and does its job, but nothing stands out as special.

**Rating: 7/10**

**TL;DR:** The season feels rushed and is ultimately disappointing.
I just finished the last episode, and wow, I didn’t see that coming! The anime completely dominated the manga in the last part (Rin vs Sai)—it’s exactly what we should have had from the beginning. They absolutely nailed Shidou’s goals, and honestly, knowing this was all done in just 8 months makes it even more impressive. Hats off to the animators for such a solid effort!
