I like watching it, but words cannot come out when I look for words when I try to praise it. To be honest, it's an average harem/romance but with arguably good characters. It's mixed for me.
I've been recommended this as something to watch if you like 'The Quintessential Quintuplets.' To a certain extent, I can see it.
Synopsis: Kasukabe Hayato moves back to his dead grandmother's cafe with the intention of selling it. He was surprised to find 5 beautiful girls living there. Little did he know that these part-timers were treated by his grandmother as family. Eventually, he decided to revive his grandmother's cafe with these girls as part-timers.
So far so good, right? If you ask me, it's pretty contrived.
Compared it QQ, I enjoyed it to some extent but I did not enjoy it to the point of quickly watching the episodes. It's not as fun as QQ.
But in some aspects, it is better. Since these are not sisters, they don't have to have some similar traits. Indeed, you can make some side-by-side comparisons between Megami's characters and QQ. Megami's characters seem to have better backgrounds compared to QQ.
Riho used to be a child actress. Shiragiku met Hayato in childhood. Ouka wants to pursue her passion and not get tied up with her family tradition of studying at Tokyo University. Akane came from a rich family but would rather be a musician. Ami is the quintessential idiot like Yotsuba.
Although heavily censored, it has even more blatant use of fanservice. And depending on how you accept or reject fanservice, it may be a positive or negative point. Personally, I'm ambiguous. At certain points in my life, I would have found this even funnier than QQ. These girls are literally offering themselves to Hayato, so who wouldn't not want that? But if you reach the point of watching the anime where you desire artistically made anime, these fanservice seems like cheap tricks.
The setting here is also limited. Either it's in the cafe or in some areas of town, unlike in QQ where it seems that they go to different places.
The animation is pretty much serviceable.
Conclusion: It's an average harem that uses the formula of The Quintessential Quintuplets. It's not as fun, but the characters are more compelling.
ETA: A score of 5 out of 10 in my scoring system means average and the anime meets the bare minimum for it to be considered passing. There's some level of enjoyment with it as well as flaws.
