Compared to the original code geass which was absolutely amazing, this new installment went full boruto mode.
Britania, the empire which ruled over the entire world, they're now back to their original tiny island, surrounded by water, sipping tea and reminiscing about the good old days about their tea in the sea....
And now some rebels calling themselves neo britania(some extremist britaninas) takes over a Japanese island which just so happens to have killer tech that disables every electronic device that comes across its field, giving them absolute defense.
Now that I think about it, how did the resistance even get their supplies? Was there some us military base?
Probably missed some crucial details from the show, but I’m honestly too busy to ponder over this.
As for the main villain, it's a fragment of the protagonist’s grandfather—who was the father of the original Code Geass protagonist and was killed by his own son!
story : bad
art : great (for a mecha show)
characters : good
