The movie didn't quite live up to my expectations. Despite receiving many positive reviews and being directed by Makoto Shinkai, it fell short for me. The plot was hard to follow, and I found it difficult to connect with the characters. They felt one-dimensional and lacked depth, making it hard to care about their stories. However, the film was visually stunning, especially considering it was released in 2007. The animation and visual effects were beautiful and impressive for its time. Despite this, it wasn't enough to leave an emotional impact or a lasting impression. Overall, it was a disappointment for me.
