I gave myself a goal to watch as much anime as possible during the summer since, knowingly, I would be quite busy afterward. Myself; Yourself was my first pick, not only because the art style reminds me of School Days, but 'cuz I was more invested that it was originally a Visual Novel instead. Since I can't actually can't play the Visual Novel for whatever reason, I decided the anime would do for now.

Myself; Yourself was a pleasurable watch that took a turn that I wasn't expecting. It may not be Doga Kobo's greatest work, especially given how basic the animation is (ignoring my love for the 2000s style), but the story definitely holds up the ground for me.

Episode 10 by far affected me the most. Not to give spoilers, but ya, it had me thinking.

Can we talk about the music? Yea, I think we should.
The soundtracks are pretty alright, assuming that it was taken from the Visual Novel, I think it fits the vibe quite well. Wouldn't necessarily say I would bop to them 24/7. The OP/ED is pretty good too, very catchy, very nice. Yea, that's pretty much it.

The only thing that left me disappointed was finishing this anime. The way they concluded it was pretty wholesome, but I just wanted so much more.. Would've been more satisfied if this was a 2 cour series, but we don't live in that timeline

Good anime, alright soundtracks, mediocre animation, engaging story. I enjoyed this show back to forth.
