This season is good, but it can be quite hard to follow. Even when you start to feel familiar with the context and the action ramps up, it might be a little confusing what the purpose of this all is. In the first three seasons, the mystery added to the excitement and made one want to keep watching, but this time around, the holes in the story just add to the confusion. It's a really cool part 1 of the final season, but I think it's a little too ambitious. This season introduces a whole bunch of new characters, then introduces so much chaos, you're not sure who to root for or what even is going on.
Still, this season is cool. We're given so much explosive moments that are likely really important, we just don't know they're important yet. I bet in the manga, this part is one of the coolest sections of the entire series, but it's just such a clutter in the animation version.
Obviously, this season is good, but it doesn't contain as much magic as the earlier seasons.
