6.6/10
With all things being considered, this wasn’t that bad, but it wasn’t anything to write home about due to quite the considerable amount of pathetic moments in the story via cliche plot developments or lack of sound character writing.
Color me surprised on one hand, since this manga was darker than I expected from the usual run-of-the-mill isekai harem story, but it still conformed to the same old cliches and tropes of a sexual violence or gore version on a lesser scale story and detail wise. As for the plot itself, it was pathetic — there were too many cliches of belittlement for any of the events to be serious or engaging, as it was the same old concept done in each event.
The characters seemed somewhat promising despite the lackluster storytelling start, but there were times where the story was stagnant in character progression and development, causing there to be quite a substantial amount of forgettability in the specifics of character personalities. For example, at one point in time, I forgot the mc was even isekai’d due to the lack of mention or relativity the detail had to the actual story.
As for the side characters, there’s your typical “if she’s a female, then she’s a good person; if they are a boy, he’s evil” introduction in a harem story along with the boring “bad guys for the sake of being a bad guy.”
Comparing it to other trash, this was by no means bad, but it also wasn’t striking much interest; this is more of a time pleaser and waster than an obsessive/active read, which this sufficed quite well for my bored mind.
You guys know this is just my opinion, right?
