'The Dragon's Betrothed' tells the story of Rin trying his best to woo Chiharu and make him fall in love (which in and of itself is hilarious and endearing), but there is this unspoken (blink and you'll miss it) undercurrent of urgency to the story that could jeopardise not only their blossoming relationship, but also put Rin's very existence at risk.
Gods are born from stories, but if there is no one left to tell the tales or remember them, then how can they continue to exist?
I'm afraid my words cannot do this story the justice it deserves, but if you enjoy the tropes mentioned, the manga is worth a read (plus the art is stunning!)
