The main problem I'd say the show has is a bloated cast of characters with no main focus on any one of them. More characters get introduced faster than others are defeated, causing even more bloat later on. Baki is not only not the main focus, despite the show being named after him, but most of his little screen time tends to be uninteresting and feels like it is the worst part of the season. There was also a handful of uses of CGI that looks mostly unremarkable and messes up the momentum of the fights.
I would say the show is a 6/10; if the story was more concise with a more focused cast and shortened by about four episodes, it would be a contender for a 9/10.
