I've been a very big fan of the prince of tennis for many years. I listen to the character songs daily, pick up the rhythm game every now and then, and rewatch the show whenever I get sad. It has such a big place in my heart.
Now, this movie is nothing comparable to the series or anything like that, it's just simply fun crazy, and all over the place, so it's best to just enjoy it as it is instead of trying to be too critical about it.
This does take place after the Finals in the Nationals arc though, so do beware of spoilers if you're a new watcher and has yet to see the original series or the nationals arc. Don't know how you got here though if you're new to the series.
