It has a beautiful art style and I can not emphasize this enough. Each damn frame looks like it could be framed and put into a museum. In the first episode there is an intro slideshow kind of sequence with highly detailed setting shots that I would pay a stupid amount of money for an irl recreation.
The sub is great, but arguably the dub is better, since they get American VAs that have appropriate accents to the time and location. The ending is beautiful and sadistically satisfying, though my one complaint is that it raps up a little to fast for my liking.
The sound design, omg the music is just gorgeous. I wish I had it as a vinyl and could play it throughout my house. Usage of the music to set the tone for the scene is executed brilliantly, and a specific ending to an episode uses this perfectly to show the decent into madness a certain character has.
If you have a day to crank out a 12 episode master piece that will make you feel sad there isn't more, but satisfied with how it ended, I would highly recommend.
