After some alcohol came into the mix, she finds out that... Ayako has been in love with her since her was 12. That's when she realizes that 'You like me(mama), not my daughter? (Roll credits). Now she must confront her own growing feelings and he asks her to respond to his confession and date her as a man. Even her daughter knows his feeling towards her mom...and encourages it! Now the two of them try and navigate the age difference and the fact that he has seen her naked in the tub when they bathed together... rom-com ensues!
You Like Me (Mama), Not My Daughter! Is another rom-com series that plays up on the Older woman younger man thing but throws in a daughter into the mix. That sets up all sorts of sub-plots on how she gets ahold of her feeling and seeing him as an adult and not the kid that use to come over all the time. With a series setup like this, you know there will be lots of misunderstandings, tears and laughs as you know she will eventually get with him...maybe... in a Manga Rom-com, you never know.
