Oh thank goodness it's finally f*cking over. I never have to sit through another episode of this nightmare, with the exception of a single OVA for this season they promised sometime in the future. The scores for this show seem incredibly divisive, and I think that can be largely chalked up to the demographics of the people watching. Are you a dumb kid in high school who gets off on drama and thrives on pointless gossip and love triangles? Maybe this is for you. The protagonist continues to be the most unlikable piece of sh/t in existence and doesn't even deserve to be in a love triangle. I'm not joking when I say the show was a more enjoyable experience when I opened up a seperate tab in each corner of the screen and watched for episodes at once each at 2x speed or faster. It was actually hilarious seeing all the predictably stupid events transpire simultaneously. Here's where he finally tells side-chick B that he doesn't like her. Over on that screen at the same time he's finally going on a date with side-chick A. On both of those screen it looks like the same exact scene is playing out at around the same time in two completely different episodes. Wow. Pointing out how stupid it all was turned out to be way more fun than the actual show. Of course trying to perform a lobotomy on yourself with a rusty hatchet would also be more fun.
The only time I can remember genuinely laughing at something when the show was actually trying to be funny was that impromptu rap battle protagonist-kun had with the guy who likes to wave his hands around a lot. Every subplot was stupid and it makes me violently angry thinking about how much of my time this show has wasted, even at 2x, 3x and finally 4x speed it still felt like it was going to slow. 3/10
