I loved Eureka Seven. Even the early episodes, which yes, are the worst episodes in the series because they're cringy due to the innocent 15 y/o acting like the child he was, but they are key to the story, to the development of a young innocent boy into the man he eventually becomes, proving his love to the girl who is out of his world. The middle and ending made me cry: it was beautiful. The raw power of these young lovers finally overcoming boundaries was glorious and the way it was executed made my cry. The message of family, of love, of sacrifice and life merged together to make a perfect blend of drama, romance, action, and tragedy.

The animation helps massively with this. Eureka Seven is about breaking boundaries and freedom: and the animation takes your breath away with it. The various action scenes at a lightning fast feeling pace, the calm flight scenes where the sky is a clear blue, the mech designs, and the character designs are amazing imo.

Not to mention the OST, it is full of bangers that fit the moment, the freedom, the stress, the sadness; it all fits perfectly together! Honestly, Eureka Seven is an underrated banger in my opinion.

TL;DR Eureka Seven is Gundam X if X had time to finish. Sweet as sugar couple with sour tragedy surrounding them. 10/10 would fire lasers at the moon to show my love again
