Note: This review has spoilers up to episode 3 of the anime.

(This is a review for seasons 1 & 2)

Story: 9
The overall story in the first season is intriguing with the mystery aspect of some characters. The story picks up in season two with the Beast Of Gevaudan arc and the sheer amount of plot twists and cliffhangers.

Art: 6
The animation/art in the first few episodes is nothing to write home about but after the first couple of episodes, becomes quite inconsistent with the art of some characters just making them look ugly compared to panels in the manga. After hearing bones was animating this I was hyped af but was not anywhere near bones' other work like Space Dandy and Mob Psycho in terms of art.

Sound: 8.3
The season 1 and 2 OPs are bangers. I've not got much to say about the soundtrack apart from that it compliments the anime very well.

Characters: 9.3
The characters all have great introductions and are all super likable.
I love the chemistry between Noe and Vanitas and Some of the later relationships in the series.

Enjoyment: 9.5
One of the most enjoyable shows I've watched in quite a while. There are lots of fun moments, but there's always something slightly more sinister at hand than first seems, and when you get glimpses of what that something is you always end up getting these amazing plot twists.

Overall: 8.5
Overall it's a great show with a great story and great characters, but if the art leaves a bit to be desired. My recommendation is to watch the first 5 or so episodes of the anime and if you enjoy it, go ahead and read the manga from the beginning because the anime misses out on a few important details.
