Slideshow-like fights. Didn't do the manga justice. Just read the manga.
The music and voice acting are fine but holy shit, the fights lack impact, the clashes are still images, and the majority of the episode is spent talking. What's the point of creating an anime adaption if it's not gonna be done right? The animated manga clips found on youtube are more enjoyable than the actual anime.
The only redeeming part of this anime was how each character was brought up and developed. Perhaps my review is too hasty with two episodes in, perhaps it gets better, but watching this anime adaption attempt, I couldn't help but feel disappointed for such an amazing series (top 10 monthly manga seller at one point), to be underfunded and experimented by an inexperience animation studio.
It's a complete disappointment, I emphasize not to watch the anime at all, just read the manga or pray that this manga gets a reboot.
