This anime does what any good sequel should do: take the best aspects of previous seasons and the manga and builds on them to create an all around better experience.
Did you like the final episodes of season 2 where Takagi and Nishikata's relationship started to progress? Then you will love this season. While I am also a fan of the manga's "episodic" style and subsequently those parts in the adaptations, this season takes that format and mixes some of the best skits from the manga in with great romantic progression to create a fantastic anime. If you are invested in the main couple and their charming dynamic, I can see no reason why you won't love this season.
Every episode is a joy to watch. Each one is spectacularly paced, fully re-investing the viewer every week. They include a somehow almost perfect mix of relaxing skits, charming scenes, and stellar romantic progression. Every episode leaves me wanting more, but at the same time satisfied with what I got.
Verdict: 9/10.
My only criticism at this point is that scenes with side characters can drag a bit, but its a pretty minor issue in my opinion. The selling point is the main couple.
If you have at all enjoyed previous seasons of Takagi-san, this is a must watch!
