Maybe I give this anime such 'high' ratings because I can see the potential in it. The story itself, while not original, isnt bad. Its planets of the apes with wizards. I think that maybe if this show laid off the rape/ sex and had better dialogue it could have been much better. The chatters are fair. They have the potential to be great, but the writing doesnt really allow them to develop in a normal way. Things are rushed and never explained. The art is the main thing that turned me away from this originally. The character designs are poor and the animation is just sad. I think if you can manage to look past all the bad things, there is a half decent show here. If youre looking for some time to kill and youve never seen it and have nothing else to watch then what the heck, give it a chance!
