Art (8/10):
Overall, the art was pretty good. The differing look of the worlds was very nice. Sometimes it was inconsistent, probably for emphasis, but that's not too big of a deal. The design of the powers was good, specifically Asakaze's power looked great.

Sound (6/10):
The sound was fine. The ending theme was good and catchy. No real complaints for most of the background music, but there was nothing that stood out. There was one song that didn't fit very well.

Character (6/10):
The characters were mostly single dimensional archetypes. Only Mizuho and Nagara got any real development. The interactions between the characters was very good, the author has a very good understanding of human relationships and dynamics. Specifically the use of scapegoating was well done. For those who don't know what this is, scapegoating is the process that a community in a crisis goes through to resolve its problems. The community blames their problems on a weak member, they make accusations, get more emboldened, and eventually try to cast our or kill the scapegoat. The students scapegoat Mizuho because of the blue fire, they scapegoat Nagara for his power, and Kodama's community scapegoats War because of the disease.

Story (2/10):
This is where the show falls apart. The largest recurring problem is the introduction of plot points and characters with no follow up. There is one episode with a literal Chekov's Gun that is never used or mentioned again. Nearly every episode has this problem. Another problem that nearly every episode has is timeskips. Important plot-related developments happen off screen, and we're left guessing what happened. Combine this with the lack of follow-up, and most episodes seem like filler. A show this short shouldn't have any filler.

The first episode sets up a crisis, factions, power structures, and a conflict. The second episode timeskips all of these things out of existence. They are only mentioned in one passing comment and one flashback later in the show. The island arc introduces new factions and a new character (Aki). As a conflict starts brewing, students from Aki's faction defect to the student council faction, then the students try getting back to their own world. After that fails, the majority of the just leave and are never heard from again. Aki then goes to different worlds trying to collect powerful people for some unknown reason, and all of a sudden, she is just gone. Just disappeared completely. No follow up. The same thing happens with the baseball monkeys, the bat guy and upside down tower, the War character, the gun War drops, the mind reader, and a number of other characters.

The lack of follow up on plot points and character development makes the majority of the show seem like filler. And what happened with different worlds having different rules? After the first void world and the island with blue fire, rules are never mentioned again.

The one saving grace is that the show has an ending. It's the kind of ending where the show says "you know all of those plot threads? Yeah, well, they're all gone now." But at least it's an ending.

Overall Enjoyment (3/10):
The show was a decent way to burn 20 minutes before bed for the past couple weeks. Nothing special here. I do not recommend it.
