have to say there are quite a few things that I do like about Battle Through The Heavens. Primarily the things that I do like are the storyline, the art style and the progression of the characters. Each progresses at a very good pace and it doesn’t feel rushed in any way and everything feels like it flows along correctly.
I like how the main protagonist handles his problems and I like that he is determined to be the best, while also being humble and retaining his kindness to those who have been kind to him. Xiao Yan strives to help everyone around him, regardless whether he has known them for a short period and through this mindset, he has managed to grow into someone who leads the Xiao Clan in current chapters.
The art style is very beautiful and the colours used never feel out of place and retain the attention of the reader, in this case, me. I love the vibes the art gives off and I think it’s a perfect adaptation from the original Light Novel.
All the way throughout this manhua you will find witty humour from all the characters, and this in itself – is something which is invaluable to the progression of the characters. The translation has managed to make all translated jokes into things which will make you smile and even things which aren’t a joke and are totally serious can have a twist of witty banter between enemies.
