Overall I felt series 2 was a bit of a downgrade from series 1, the first couple of episodes with the beach and festival were fun but the 3 episodes about Akihisa, Kouta and Yuuji trying to see the girls bathroom was shallow and got old really quick and was garbage. The other episodes were below-average, though the finale was pretty good and a return to the usual.
The characters are still as likable and good as before, we do get some backstory episodes for Yuuji, Minami and Shoko but they felt out of place in a comedy anime, though character development is always welcome.
Overall, this series was a mixed bag, there are fantastic episodes at the beginning and end but in the middle is a terrible 3 episode arc and some character backstory episodes, I enjoyed this series more than I disliked it but there was still room for improvement.
Let's hope the rumored series 3 lives up to its expectations.
