Disappointing. That is the word I would use to describe this series. At first, the main character seemed likeable and energetic, until he wasn't the main character anymore. The story for this anime is quite hard to follow and it is never clearly stated who the main character is. You could argue there are more than one, but frankly, it seems as though the only one making any progress is Natsu. Most of this anime is filled with the "Power of friendship" and fan service, making almost every fight quite disappointing and every slice of live bits, forced. This series is probably fine to watch in the background while doing something else, but the plot, in my opinion, isn't worth following. Overall, I'd say this show is very average and it did not bring me nearly as much enjoyment as other animes did. I do not recommend it.
