Story (10/10):
In my opinion, FMA:B has one of the greatest stories of anime. Based in a fictional country within a law with its own physics rules (alchemy), the series successfully manages to keep the viewer wanting more and more episodes. This aspect is also completed by the main characters' goals (return to the original bodies and .... (here's a spoiler so nah))
Animation & Art (8/10):
The animation deserves a 7/10 but thanks to the beautiful art of the series, I think it deserves overall an 8/10 on this criterion. They knew how to add symbolism to the story, a very important detail in my opinion. Also although the animation isn't great, the shots are amazing.
Sound, Voice Acting & Music (10/10):
Everything in this criterion is a 10/10. The soundtracks? Excellent. The voice acting? Great. The openings/endings? Legendary.
Character (10/10):
The characters are not well-built. They are "legendary-built". The character development is one of the things that will impress you regarding the character as you advance further in the story. There are also a lot of characters that from villains turn to heroes, and from heroes turn to villains, an interesting detail that you don't want to miss.
Overall, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood is an ABSOLUTELY must-watch for all anime enthusiasts. Although the first 10 episodes are weak, give it a try and I assure you the final quarter is LEGENDARY.
Recommendable only to anime enthuasists? : No.
